Larger than 2x2 enemies
« on: 31 Jan 2016, 05:11 (7 years and 10 months ago) »
kden for the ppl that dont know, you can make larger than 2x2 enemies and heres how:

certain rooms in a 20x20 map can have createentity 1 (the purple cube) used inside them and for some reason appear as larger than 2x2 enemies
the rooms that can have createentity 1 used to create larger than 2x2 enemies are:

19,1 = OBEY
16,3 = the random numbers
16,4 = Stop men
14,4 = the weird lined things that kill you
13,6 = Yes men
19,3 = OOOB
18,4 = the piranhas
17,3 = the headless dudes
14,7 = tribes men (or whatever)
11,8 = Hourglass
14,8 = the ogmo thing
17,8 = ghosts
18,8 = those weird things with helmets
14,9/10/11 = clouds
15,9 = compass
14/15/16/17/19,12 = LIES
12,14 = TRUTH
15,14 = spooky scary skeletons
14,5 = Comms Relay

im pretty sure those are all of them. please tell me if there are any more

also all enemies are fully functional (can kill you and can move at different directions / speeds)

Do they have properly sized hitboxes, or is it just the sprites that are larger?

(also the OOOB are the ZZT centipedes, I wonder if anyone else here has played ZZT)

The hit boxes are the ones in the main game
So yes they are properly sized
(Even though the elephant doesn't have one)

oh wow, I completely forgot this was a thing. Probably since it only works on rooms that reflect the normal dimension VVVVVV.
