Frequent Error

So recently i encountered this screen quite frequently. Here's the screen:

Was it frequently in a short period of time? Was it only when trying to do anything specific?

I can't really find out what caused that because these kinds of errors aren't logged (could be the database server was under maintenance by the host, malfunctioning, or there's a version incompatibility somewhere), but I'll try to add logging for this, and hopefully find out more!

Edit: additional logging of database errors is now in place, let's see if it happens again.

I can't be much help here, sorry. I have never ever seen any message like that before.

No, it's frequent in "long" periods (i wasn't very active). And it didn't occur this time.

That's odd then. I've been on this thing for hours sometimes, and I have never seen a database error in my entire time here.

Update: all database errors that have occurred since a week ago (3) were due to the ban checks taking too long. I'm not sure if that's the error you encountered, but the ban system is not the most efficient, and having more bans allegedly makes the whole system slower (although this seems to point to another issue).

I've cleaned up the ban list, removing many triggers for bans that were expired/lifted anyway, and also optimized ban checking. Let's see if anything else pops up.
