(I can't really put this anywhere else. If it wasn't locked, I would have put it in the child board.)

Did I not say I would test in the old forum?
Quote
And I might as well test, too. :)
I never saw the bug test thread because it never showed new because I was locked from it, so I never really got to do anything for tOLP. :-\ Thanks. :-\
Also, for toaster,

We all did a bit of something (except Roskilla), but here's what we focused on!
Thanks again. You really know how to hurt a guy's feelings. You could have took me off the list, and I would have understood. :-\

That's not the point. I didn't contribute, so I decided I would test. No one gave me the level. I feel left out.

3 Threads with the level: this one, the one Doormat created in the other forum and the original one (created by ToasterApocalipse). You could have just edited the original one. Why new threads?
And I suppose the linked version already hasn't got the debug terminal?

And I suppose the linked version already hasn't got the debug terminal?

No, maybe Toaster could make a quick 1.0.1 now which just removes that terminal, so I can release 1.1 later on which (hopefully) fixes more bugs.

Well, erm. I just finished, and I did not realize how close I was to finishing when the game forgot to load a script. But now that I finished it, I guess I'll put my comments here?
Show content
1. That was a pretty good level, too bad the first time I forgot Viel and Vanilla.
2.  :cvalso: - Is it me, or is his colour Verdigris-green? He's not the dark-blue-ish his textbox is.
3.  :cvictoria: - The first thing I thought for a while was if he/she was a male or female, but I ended up saying he/she was female. Probably because he/she had Victoria's colour except more flashy.
4.  :cvaelyn: - "If you're a male, you're the only hot pink male Villi I ever have seen." - What I thought when I first saw her.
5.  :cviel: - You're green, too! Except you're a darker green, but you're still green! (I confused him and Valso my first time through, actually.)
6. Vanilla (She really needs a smiley thing) - "She was arrested for being white. RACISM." And then Vita said "That's racist!" I still am forever going to wonder, is she really insane or was that a joke?
7.  :cvoon: - The Voon Show? That was a great show. I liked it.
8.  :cverisix: - Okay, now that you're the new engineer, what about Verdigris? Where even IS Verdigris?
9. The first few times Villi was said, I clapped (I had missed the literal first time, so it was when a terminal in the secret lab said it. I then got annoyed that it was only capitalized once, though it was a noun.
10. Overall, a good level. A few times where I had to do some fancy footsteps, and once I had to power through from "It's almost like jumping" to "RUN" because I glitched in a spike over and over! Atleast all scripts worked.
11. I encountered glitches throughout the place, like in Split (first room), Viridian would already be on the roof and his text would appear over Valso's head!
12. I wonder what kind of party they had...?

And about that debug terminal, I saw it too and activated it on both the playthroughs, until the powerthrough where I left it alone. Interesting...
...Why do I feel as if Vanilla is my new favourite player-level character?

To answer some things:
2.  :cvalso: - Is it me, or is his colour Verdigris-green? He's not the dark-blue-ish his textbox is.
That's because of limitations.

3.  :cvictoria: - The first thing I thought for a while was if he/she was a male or female, but I ended up saying he/she was female. Probably because he/she had Victoria's colour except more flashy.
Vita is male. And more flashy how? ???

...Oh. I guess I wasn't remembering her colour correctly.
I'm sorry. But I thought that Victoria was not flashy, but I guess she is, and Vita is as well.

About the debug terminal; it could have been worse.

It could have been a terminal to get all keycards for debugging. Now it doesn't really change anything but display a textbox about turning a flag on. I also added a debug terminal in front of a certain area which was closed with a gravity line, just before releasing 1.0, to remove the gravity line for debugging a bit in that area. I could have forgotten to remove that too...

You should be able to use the ship teleporter to go back to the hub. If not, could you try attaching your save?

I actually meant a quicksave, not the level itself. Firstly I would recommend upgrading to version 1.1. If you make a quicksave, you can find it in VVVVVV/Saves/open 1.0.vvvvvv.vvv.

You can attach something to a post by clicking "Attachments and other options" underneath the post box, and you can find Attach: under the checkboxes. From there, you can attach the .vvvvvv.vvv file.

Attached the .vvvvvv.vvv. I bet this is the bug that makes all teleporters inactive, as it says"ERR:Teleporter is inactive at this moment." Also want to note after completing certain areas, I have to replay stuff. Like one certain area, once I replay it, Verisix pops up and says Voon is gone. Vita is gone. Vaelyn is gone, and that stuff ensures. Just saw it.

The flag 67 bug has been fixed.

Technical notes (for TOLP developers, mostly dav999): My solution was to alter the place that checks for flag 67 to check (and turn on) flag 80 instead. At the top of the script, a new line has been added - ifflag(67,fix67). fix67 contains the following:

flag(67,off)
flag(80,on)
ifflag(90,showdestination)

The two first lines are obvious to why they are there, the 3rd may not be. Thing is, I also added as part of the teleportation system, when you teleport to the hub, flag 90 is set, and if flag 67 is set, it runs fix67 as well (and then continue to branch to the usual script afterwards - showdestination - which now turns off flag 90 at the top). I know that flag 90 isn't used during the teleportation sequence as flag 90 disables teleporters, so there wont be any flag collisions.
I also removed the flag 80 check within hubteleport to branch to "teleporters are broken!" as it's not used.

Do you mean the screen shaking? It will stop if you exit VVVVVV... It's not always a good idea to interrupt scripts in the middle because you interrupted it between turning shaking on for a very long time and turning it off...

I already did, it's this post (http://tolp2.nl/forum/index.php?topic=141.msg33749#msg33749). I was insulting your extremely slow computer that contains only 256 megabytes of ram, not you. Nobody cares about my insults, you shouldn't either.

Anyways, try downloading 7zip and using 7zip to open the archive, and drag out the level.

Yeah, but the computer (1 GB ram, pretty slow) is my possesion. Therefore, you're insulting what i have. And i think that counts. But anyway, you're right there. Your insults shouldn't be cared about, especially because they make you look like a little kid :>.

One thing about this level that I don't like is that sometimes you just have to explore around when you get a certain keycard. The starting area is pretty small enough so you won't search around much, but it's pretty annoying. And that sometimes happens in tOLP 2 as well.

0. there are spoiler functions here
1. why do you need to spoiler them, those images don't spoil anything
2. you're also wrong. have you actually looked at (19,2) in an editor or actually tried to get the trinket?

FUCKING LMAO
after all these years and no one thought of that design oversight xddddd

no you're not supposed to do that, you're supposed to go through (18,2), use the ledge in (18,2) to flip yourself and go back through (18,2) and then go to the trinket room

anyway someone should correct that design oversight or leave it in for when i tas open

but yes you should still disapprove of the trinket design because of the design oversight and also the inconsistent hitbox bullshittery (as called out by som1sezhi) in getting the trinket
i mean just look at this video https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/240798716225650690/305868209985159168/2017-04-24_02-47-15.mkv

Wow, this is even more stupid than my method. And I obviously already thought of using the ledge to get there after taking a look at the editor, but the first group of ennemies alone had a dumb formation to begin with, and the second one looked flat-out impossible to get past.
And indeed, you can go through them from the edges of the screen (Which slipped my mind due to this trick being so rarely intentionally used in customs in the first place), but what a shitty triumph would be that if that really was the legit way.
