Well, now the next person that goes on that computer will have VVVVVV custom music
Anything wrong with that?
They might steal them, claiming they had permission to "re-modify" them.

You're mis-interpreting me. Anyone can steal your music off the library computer. It doesn't have to be a single, specific person.

And it's THAT specific computer, if you dd something wrong but it was the library's closing time, the next day, how would you know which computer? And what if someone was using it?

I'm mostly imagining that all those library computers run Windows (or maybe even macOS, who knows) and also don't allow you to run executables of your own at all, and that you'd eventually attract the attention of an employee, asking what you think you're doing with that USB stick plugged in and a few terminals open on the screen, and from whom you got permission to "hack into their systems".

The library computers are Linux, but I failed anyways 'cause I couldn't use Command Prompt.

Put them in the right place.

Did you follow the instructions correctly? That error means you didn’t put the music files in the right place.
